We will pick you up at your nearest embarkation point at 6:00pm .The tour will last for 2 hrs along the coast of Praiano and Positano at sunset. Li Galli Islands are one of the very best highlights that we can offer; the legend tells this was the place where three enchanting sirens lured sailors with their song to the shore. The place is spectacular, away from home, away from the crowd, but right in the middle of everything. Soft drinks and prosecco with fruits or some light snacks will be served on board. If you wish we can help you with a dinner reservation in a good seaside restaurant so you can continue your special evening. Arrange flowers, or a birthdaycake if it is a special event. Li Galli history
In Homer’s tale The Odyssey, Circe gave Odysseus explicit instructions to resist the song of the Sirens, those half-human seductresses who taunted sailors from their rocky perches in the sea. According to legend, when their boat passed a small archipelago off Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Odysseus followed Circe’s orders and put beeswax in the ears of his sailors and ordered them to tie him to the mast of his ship. Those storied islands aren’t just the stuff of legend. Known today as Le Sirenuse, or Li Galli (the roosters), the three small locales have captivated travelers and rogues ever since, from the ancient Romans, who took advantage of the natural harbor, and the king of Naples, who built a fortress there, to 17th-century pirates who used it as a prison and 20th-century ballet legends Léonide Massine and Rudolf Nureyev.
